We are seeking a Full-Stack Developer with a strong Backend focus to join our IT team. This role involves collaborating with the support team on the management and implementation of our proprietary platform.
This is a hybrid work position, allowing for partial smart working. The primary workplace is in Casazza (BG).
Main Responsibilities
- Architectural Evolution: Drive the architectural evolution of our platform (Laravel 10/11, PHP 8.x), including module, service, and API design (REST/GraphQL), refactoring, and ensuring scalability and resilience.
- System Integrations: Manage integrations with internal and external systems (payments, CRM/ERP, identity/SSO, third-party services), including synchronization pipelines and queues (Redis).
- Code Quality & Governance: Define and enforce code standards (linting, code style), conduct code reviews, ensure test coverage (PHPUnit/Pest), and maintain application security (OWASP Top 10).
- Performance & Observability: Optimize database performance (MySQL), implement caching, conduct profiling, and manage centralized logging, metrics, and alerting.
- Release Management & DevOps: Oversee CI/CD pipelines (GitHub/GitLab), manage Docker/Containers, Nginx, environment provisioning, and handle SSL/TLS certificate and DNS management.
- Production Ownership: Take ownership of production incidents, perform troubleshooting, conduct root cause analysis, and develop remediation and regression prevention plans.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Gather requirements from stakeholders, estimate effort, break down tasks, coordinate with the development team, and contribute to the product roadmap.
- Developer Mentoring: Mentor junior and mid-level developers through coaching, pair programming, and sharing best practices.
Essential Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with PHP and Laravel in production environments.
- Solid experience with MySQL, including database modeling, optimized queries, indexing, and migrations.
- Proficiency in GIT (branching strategy), CI/CD, and environment management with Docker; familiarity with Linux and Nginx.
- Experience in designing and consuming APIs (REST/GraphQL), implementing authentication (OAuth2/OIDC), and managing SSL/TLS and DNS.
- Knowledge of Vue.js (preferably Vue 3 + TypeScript) for front-end development.
- Strong understanding of application security (OWASP), secret management, and least privilege principles.
- English B2+ proficiency.
- Excellent communication skills, autonomy, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience with queues (Redis), scheduled jobs, and WebSockets/Realtime technologies.
- Knowledge of advanced testing methodologies (contract/e2e), Domain-Driven Design, and modern architectural patterns.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus/Grafana/ELK) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Proficiency in Python for automation, ETL processes, and operational scripting.
- Experience with hardening and best practices for containerized environments and reverse proxies.
