Full Stack Developer

Full Stack Developer (PHP/Angular) - Remote/Hybrid

We are seeking two experienced Full Stack Developers specializing in PHP/Angular to join our team immediately. This role focuses on the development and evolution of a critical production system.

Location: Mexico (Guadalajara, Jalisco preferred)
Modality: Remote or Hybrid (if based in GDL)
Contract: Full-time, Indefinite term
Salary: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per month

System Technology Stack

• Frontend: Angular
• Backend: PHP Symfony
• Database: MySQL (Advanced SQL)
• Automation/Reporting: PHP / Python Scripts

We prioritize candidates demonstrating strong technical judgment, quality focus, and the ability to manage existing systems effectively. Minimum 5 years of software development experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Angular modules, including components, services, state management, and UX improvements.
• Implement backend endpoints and business logic using Symfony (APIs, controllers, services, entities, validations).
• Design and optimize complex SQL queries, focusing on joins, subqueries, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Automate operational tasks and generate reports using PHP and Python scripts.
• Integrate external APIs, webhooks, and third-party services.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance, debugging, and performance enhancements.
• Collaborate effectively using Git practices, participating in code reviews and task tracking.

Required Skills & Experience

Frontend Expertise

• Angular (v12+ preferred) with experience in large-scale projects.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and RxJS.
• Experience consuming REST APIs and managing reactive forms.
• Commitment to good practices: reusable components, performance optimization, and lazy loading (a plus).

Backend Expertise

• PHP 8+ proficiency.
• Experience with Symfony (v4.4+ preferred).
• Solid experience with ORM Doctrine or advanced query builders.
• Familiarity with service architecture, validations, and DTOs (desirable).

Advanced SQL/Database Skills (MySQL / MariaDB)

• Complex joins and subqueries.
• Group by / having clauses.
• Query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning (explain).

Automation & Scripting

• Developing scripts for data processing, report generation, system integration, and operational automation.
• Preferred experience with Python libraries like pandas or openpyxl for reporting.

Desirable Qualifications

• Linux server basics (SSH, logs, permissions).
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, Elastic Beanstalk, S3).
• Experience working with WebSockets (Node or PHP).
• Knowledge of Docker.
• Experience with CRM/ERP systems, inventory management, logistics, or shipment workflows.
