Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive technology strategies aligned with organizational goals, emphasizing scalable cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and innovative solutions.
- Lead and manage diverse technical teams across software development, system administration, network engineering, and cybersecurity to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
- Oversee enterprise architecture design, including system design, application development, database management, and integration of APIs for seamless business operations.
- Drive the implementation of enterprise solutions such as ERP systems, data warehouses, and cloud computing platforms like AWS and Azure to optimize efficiency.
- Ensure robust information security protocols by managing network security, firewalls, VPNs, DNS configurations, and compliance with standards such as PCI DSS and NIST.
- Lead disaster recovery planning, business continuity initiatives, and risk management strategies to safeguard organizational assets.
- Manage vendor relationships for hardware, software licenses, cloud services, and consulting partners while negotiating contracts to maximize value.
- Oversee project management activities utilizing Agile methodologies to deliver complex initiatives on time and within budget while maintaining SDLC standards.
- Promote a culture of innovation by integrating AI, machine learning, DevOps practices, and system automation into daily operations.
- Establish governance frameworks for IT policies including change management, IT governance standards, and compliance requirements across all technology domains.
Experience
- Proven track record in senior leadership roles managing large-scale technology teams with extensive experience in software engineering, system architecture, and enterprise solutions implementation.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure), virtualization (vSphere), SAN storage solutions, and network infrastructure including MPLS networks.
- Strong background in cybersecurity principles such as network security protocols (DNS management), firewalls, VPNs, data encryption standards (PCI compliance), and information security best practices aligned with NIST standards.
- Extensive project management experience in delivering complex IT initiatives utilizing Agile frameworks; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
- Deep understanding of databases including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB; proficiency in ETL processes for data warehousing is advantageous.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills at both technical and executive levels.
- Knowledge of software development languages such as JavaScript (including React/React Express), PHP, Python, C#, Java, .NET frameworks; familiarity with DevOps tools is desirable.
- Ability to develop strategic plans for technology adoption that support business objectives while managing budgets effectively.
