  • Configure and monitor environments specifically tailored for AEM and PHP-based eCommerce platforms.
  • Guide clients in adopting best practices for infrastructure management, deployment strategies, and performance optimization.
  • Support distributed development teams by enhancing DevOps tooling and improving processes.
  • Lead infrastructure builds for high-availability production environments leveraging major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Maintain core infrastructure components: web servers (Apache, NGINX), application runtimes (Java, PHP-FPM), and databases (MariaDB, Redis).
  • Troubleshoot and swiftly resolve complex infrastructure and deployment issues.
  • Author and maintain comprehensive documentation, including disaster recovery plans and infrastructure diagrams.
  • Evaluate internal systems for automation opportunities and drive implementation of improvements.
  • Participate actively in technical discussions and provide support for client deployments, configuration, and monitoring activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional work experience.
  • 3–5 years of dedicated DevOps engineering experience, preferably within digital consulting or agency environments.
  • Proven hands-on experience deploying and managing Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Expertise in infrastructure automation tools: Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
  • Strong experience in Linux/Unix systems administration.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, TeamCity, or Bamboo.
  • Scripting proficiency in languages like Python, Bash, Shell, or Perl.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (v6.3+) and production Dispatcher setup.
  • Familiarity with SDLC management systems, monitoring tools (Splunk, AppDynamics), and code quality frameworks.
  • Understanding of load-balanced and clustered infrastructure environments.

  • Exposure to PHP-based commerce platforms and frameworks.
  • Experience managing infrastructure for high-traffic e-commerce or content-driven websites.
  • Experience with Apache HTTPD configuration (vhosts, caching, SSL).
