DevOps Engineer - Remote (2+ Years Experience)

We are seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer with over 2 years of hands-on experience to join our team in a full-time, remote position. You will manage CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and deployment automation, focusing on system reliability, automation, and scalability in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Deploy and maintain applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, DigitalOcean, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Automate server setup and deployments using Ansible, Terraform, or Bash scripting.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively troubleshoot issues.
• Manage Docker containers and assist with Kubernetes clusters (basic knowledge acceptable).
• Set up and maintain version control and branching strategies using Git.
• Implement effective backup, security, and scaling strategies.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless build and deployment automation.
• Handle Linux server administration and perform basic networking tasks.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS).
• Hands-on experience with AWS EC2, S3, RDS, Route 53, or similar cloud services.
• Proficiency with Docker, Nginx, and CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
• Knowledge of security best practices (SSH, firewall, SSL/TLS).
• Experience with Git and automation scripting (Bash/Python).
• Basic understanding of web servers (Apache/Nginx) and databases (MySQL/MongoDB).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience deploying and managing WordPress, PHP, or Python applications.
• Knowledge of Cloudflare, CDN setup, or DNS management.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms.
• Prior experience with website migration and performance optimization.
