The DevOps Engineer's primary responsibilities are to engineer, design, implement, and maintain tools and processes for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of software.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders to Architect/Design, Build and implement CI/CD pipelines for Healthfirst applications.
- Meet with development teams to understand how to automate deployments.
- Work with development teams to codify configuration in KV Database.
- Test implemented designs.
- Build and test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning.
- Handle last level support for code deployments in all environments.
- Monitor metrics and develop ways to improve on our DevOps processes.
- Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operations.
- Brainstorm new ideas and ways to improve development delivery.
- Consult with peers for feedback during testing stages.
- Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards.
- Maintain day-to-day management and administration of projects.
- Manage CI and CD tools with team.
- Document and design various processes around DevOps; update existing processes.
- Improve infrastructure development and application development.
- Follow all best practices and procedures as established by the organization.
Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience building CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tools such as Git, Maven, Ant, Jenkins, Ansible, Artifactory and Consul.
- 2+ years of DevOps experience with one of the following: AWS, Azure or GCP.
- 3+ years of experience in a software development/engineering role.
- Experience with DevOps Culture and Agile Development.
- Previous experience with Infrastructure development, or IAC.
Preferred:
- AWS DevOps experience.
- 5+ years of Software development/engineering
- Containerization Management experience (Kubernetes and Docker).
- Experience using Veracode.
- Experience working in Agile Release Management Tools.
- Experience using Cyberark and Consur.
- Experience using Selenium.
- Experience with Linux infrastructures, database SQL (MS SQL, MySQL), CI/CD tools, scripting. such as JavaScript, PHP, Python, PowerShell, Groovy, Ruby, .NET, Scrum/Kanban/SAFe, Agile workflow methodologies.
- Experience with AWS components such as SAM, lambda, API gateway, S3, CloudFront, CloudFormation, EC2, RDS, RedShift, IAM, SSM, Secrets Manager, and DynamoDB.
Hiring Range*:
Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $108,300 - $156,485
All Other Locations (within approved locations): $99,100 - $147,390
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
