Users create fantasy teams based on televised matchups, utilize financial contracts for wagers, and engage with competitors via video chat. We are seeking a technical co-founder to join our journey.
The Role: Co-Founder & CTO
Join the founding team as Co-Founder & CTO to lead the technical direction and ensure the long-term scalability of Pump.Sports. This is an equity-only role initially, offering significant ownership, influence, and a meaningful stake, sharing the same risk profile as existing founders.
What You'll Work On
- Defining and owning the technical direction of the platform.
- Building and iterating on the Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
- Translating customer feedback into actionable product decisions.
- Making pragmatic tradeoffs between build quality and speed.
- Preparing the product for early customer adoption.
Who This Is a Good Fit For
- Strong background in software development with proficiency in: ReactJS, AngularJS, Node.js, Rust, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, PHP, and HTML.
- Deep understanding of IT infrastructure management, including cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure), DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines), system design principles, and API integrations.
- Proven experience building and shipping a Web3 product (early stage experience is acceptable).
- Interest in ownership and influence, beyond just a title.
- Ability to commit meaningful time alongside other responsibilities.
Equity & Commitment
- Equity: 10–20% (depending on fit and involvement).
- Vesting: Standard founder vesting.
- Salary: None initially, until the seed round is closed.
- Time Commitment: ~25–40 hrs/week preferred (Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week).
- Pay: $1.00 per year.
- Job Types: Full-time, Part-time.
- Work Location: Remote.
