About the Role: CMS Web Developer (WordPress, Shopify, Wix)

We are seeking a skilled CMS Web Developer with extensive experience across major platforms: WordPress, Shopify, and Wix. The ideal candidate possesses deep technical knowledge of these systems, enabling them to build custom layouts, optimize site performance, and deliver pixel-perfect front-end user experiences. This role involves translating design specifications into high-quality, responsive websites and expertly troubleshooting issues across all modern browsers and devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain websites utilizing WordPress, Shopify, and Wix platforms.
• Convert Figma or Adobe XD designs into responsive, mobile-optimized front-end layouts.
• Build custom themes, templates, sections, and reusable components for CMS platforms.
• Implement, modify plugins/apps, and integrate necessary third-party APIs.
• Execute website speed optimization, implement SEO best practices, and drive performance improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve layout issues, theme conflicts, plugin errors, and cross-browser compatibility bugs.
• Maintain complex content structures including posts, collections, menus, pages, taxonomies, and product catalogs.
• Collaborate effectively with design, content, and backend development teams.
• Ensure the delivery of clean, well-documented code adhering to industry standards.
• Safely manage deployments, staging environments, and platform updates.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–4+ years of professional experience working with multiple CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Wix).
• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive UI development.
• Experience with WordPress theme development, custom post types, and page builders like Elementor.
• Expertise in Shopify theme customization using Liquid, metafields, and managing Shopify apps.
• Proficiency in Wix Editor/X / Velo for implementing custom logic and dynamic content solutions.
• Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals, site architecture, and performance optimization techniques.
• Ability to utilize Git, staging workflows, and version control systems.
• Exceptional debugging and complex problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX best practices and meticulous attention to detail.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience utilizing PHP for advanced WordPress customizations.
• Knowledge of Liquid for advanced Shopify development tasks.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (React/Vue).
• Experience integrating payment gateways, booking tools, or custom API endpoints.
• Understanding of headless CMS architectures.
