RESPONSIBILITIES
- Genesys Cloud Engineer will execute large-scale Genesys Cloud projects, including major upgrades, migration and new feature rollouts.
- Provide expert level support and guidance for complex technical challenges, including troubleshooting, systems integrations and performance tuning.
- Mentor and lead other engineers fostering a collaborative environment by providing technical guidance and supporting professional development within the team.
- Accountable for the Contact Center implementation and support during all stages of the project life cycle.
- As a Genesys Cloud Engineer, you will follow department implementation standards and Change control processes.
- Analyze existing and new voice and data networks (as needed) and recommend solutions.
- Create/modify artifacts and deliverables, including the change management process.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication/Computer Engineering/Computer Science, Computer Technology/or related discipline or equivalent professional technical experience and 5-7 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Extensive experience with Genesys Cloud, including advanced configuration, architecture design and systems integrations.
- Software Development experience in Java and C#.NET, Python, PHP, web application development scripting, tools and methods.
- Call flow development experience in Genesys Architect tool.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring senior technical teams.
- Good technical problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate in troubleshooting challenging configurations.
- Software: Wireshark, MS Server, DHCP/DNS, MS Hyper-V, VMWare ESXi, MS Visio, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), Email (MS Outlook).
- Ability to communicate clearly, both verbal and written, with internal team, other IT teams, Customers, Clients and Partners.
- Ability to develop and execute a strategic technology vision that aligns with and supports business goals.
- Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing with sensitivity to the audience and content of discussion.
- Ability to work unscheduled hours in case of emergency work/outages.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS), certifications for Genesys, Cisco, Microsoft, Cloud and VMware & background with State & Federal Government work.
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave. Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable.
