Responsibilities: Genesys Cloud Engineer
As a Genesys Cloud Engineer, you will execute large-scale Genesys Cloud projects, including major upgrades, migrations, and new feature rollouts. You will provide expert-level support and guidance for complex technical challenges, encompassing troubleshooting, systems integrations, and performance tuning. This role involves mentoring and leading other engineers, fostering a collaborative environment through technical guidance and professional development.
You will be accountable for Contact Center implementation and support throughout all stages of the project lifecycle, adhering to department implementation standards and Change Control processes. Additionally, you will analyze existing and new voice and data networks, recommending optimal solutions, and creating/modifying artifacts and deliverables, including change management documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication/Computer Engineering/Computer Science, Computer Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional technical experience.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Extensive experience with Genesys Cloud, including advanced configuration, architecture design, and systems integrations.
- Software Development experience in Java, C#.NET, Python, PHP, web application development scripting, tools, and methods.
- Call flow development experience using the Genesys Architect tool.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring senior technical teams.
- Good technical problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate in troubleshooting challenging configurations.
- Proficiency with software such as Wireshark, MS Server, DHCP/DNS, MS Hyper-V, VMWare ESXi, MS Visio, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), and Email (MS Outlook).
- Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, with internal teams, other IT teams, customers, clients, and partners.
- Ability to develop and execute a strategic technology vision that aligns with and supports business goals.
- Ability to work unscheduled hours in case of emergency work/outages.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Certifications for Genesys, Cisco, Microsoft, Cloud, and VMware.
- Background with State & Federal Government work.
The pay range reflects the lowest to highest compensation reasonably believed to be offered at posting, subject to modification. Employee pay is based on factors such as education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract, and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off; hourly employees may be eligible based on legal requirements or Service Contract Act projects.
