Position Summary:

SPS Commerce is actively seeking an Associate Software Engineer II / Integration Testing & Implementation Specialist to join our Integrated Fulfillment Implementation team. We seek a customer-obsessed individual with a proactive attitude to deploy our cutting-edge, cloud-based supply chain solutions.

In this critical role, you will serve as the vital link, ensuring seamless data flow between client systems and their trading partners by expertly designing, testing, and implementing strategic ERP integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Customer Success team to support, design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software solutions.
  • Troubleshoot implementation and integration issues alongside the Customer Success team and clients.
  • Write high-quality, maintainable, accurate, and well-tested code and tests following established best practices.
  • Develop monitoring and diagnostic plans for code to minimize service outages.
  • Build services and components utilizing the latest frameworks, platforms, and service providers.
  • Monitor performance dashboards, respond promptly to alerts, and ensure smooth service operation.
  • Partner with specialized experts in areas such as usability, cloud automation, and service reliability within a technically complex environment.
  • Estimate work scope and timelines with reasonable accuracy and clearly articulate the reasoning behind estimates.
  • Reduce complexity and enhance efficiency through automation and scaling solutions.
  • Monitor and help maintain the health and availability of systems, applications, and related infrastructure.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent professional work experience.
  • Proficiency in T-SQL (Microsoft) and experience with ERP systems (GP, D365F&SC, D365BC, or NAV).
  • Experience utilizing scripting languages (PowerShell, PHP, Python).
  • Familiarity with the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) space.
  • Knowledge of core computer science concepts and ability to develop applications with limited scope.
  • Ability to pair program with peers and collaborate effectively as a team player.
  • Prior exposure to 3rd parties, consultants, VARs, adapter providers, or application providers is desired.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated organization and prioritization skills; ability to multitask and manage multiple concurrent activities.
