Who We Are

La Famille Maghen is a non-profit association (law 1901) focused on Social and Solidarity Economy (RNA W343027898, SIREN 883931222).

We are a Family Innovation Laboratory. Our mission is to unite to build and transform precariousness into autonomy, guided by three pillars: Solidarity, Work, and Development.

Our flagship project is e-PhotoID Express, a solidarity service that facilitates access to compliant identity photos. It is hosted in the EU and does not use facial recognition.

Job Description

As an Application Developer & Quality Assurance Intern at La Famille Maghen, you will contribute to the development and testing of our mobile applications.

Your daily tasks will include designing new features, writing clean and maintainable code, and fixing bugs. You will also be involved in setting up test scenarios, drafting anomaly reports, and collaborating with the technical team to resolve them.

You will work closely with developers and product managers to ensure the quality and stability of deliverables. This is a remote internship, allowing you to work from your residence in a paired programming setup.

Important: This is a mandatory academic unpaid internship, maximum 2 months and under 308 hours.

Your Key Missions (2-Month Format)

  1. Quality Assurance & User Experience - 50%
Test e-PhotoID Express across 15 real multilingual scenarios, identify bugs, write anomaly reports, and track their correction.
  2. Support & Automation - 30%
Automate one recurring task with your partner (e.g., sorting recruitment applications for [email protected]).
  3. Development - 20%
Implement mini-fixes or mini-features based on your interests and our project approach.

Valued Skills (What We Help You Develop in 2 Months)

  1. Application Development
Mastering application development principles, especially mobile development and functional application design. You will learn to write clean and maintainable code.
  2. Object-Oriented Programming
Building a strong foundation in OOP and understanding concepts like classes, inheritance, and encapsulation, with practical application in Flutter/Dart.
  3. Mobile Ecosystem
Gaining knowledge in iOS development (Swift, Xcode, or equivalent) and developing an interest in the Apple/Android ecosystem, discovering Flutter as a cross-platform bridge.
  4. Quality Assurance
Cultivating attention to detail, the ability to write and execute test plans, clearly document anomalies, and monitor their resolution. We believe that "by testing, one becomes a tester."
  5. Best Practices & Autonomy
