Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Web Developer with strong WordPress expertise to join our marketing team. This role involves transitioning to the client side, where you will design solutions, evaluate agency work, and build proprietary tools rather than executing external orders.
While an external agency maintains our service, you will be responsible for defining project scope, making architectural decisions, and ensuring quality. Concurrently, you will develop internal assets such as landing pages, calculators, forms, and automations, focusing on a single product rather than multiple simultaneous projects.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial experience with WordPress, including themes, Gutenberg, ACF, plugins, and PHP for code development and evaluation.
- Excellent proficiency in HTML, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript, with practical experience in Tailwind or Bootstrap.
- Demonstrated experience with website performance and technical SEO, including Core Web Vitals, structured data, meta tags, and Google Search Console.
- Proficiency with Git / GitHub and a commitment to code review practices.
- Foundational understanding of nginx / Apache and server request/response processes.
- Experience with REST API, webhooks, and no-code/low-code tools (e.g., Zapier, Make, n8n).
- Expertise in web analytics, specifically GA4 and Google Tag Manager.
- Practical knowledge of AI tools for developers.
- Readiness to engage in marketing automation, including coding email templates and building communication automations.
Key Responsibilities
As a Web Developer, you will:
- Provide technical oversight for our WordPress maintenance agency, covering work planning, code review, architectural and testing decisions, and security (Aikido, Sentry).
- Implement new web pages and landing pages, from discovery and design feedback through coding, publication, meta tags, and Open Graph integration.
- Manage performance and technical SEO for infakt.pl and our blog, focusing on Core Web Vitals, structured data, redirect hygiene, and Google Search Console error resolution.
- Develop calculators and tools for entrepreneurs, from logic to implementation, testing, and publication.
- Design and implement A/B tests.
- Code email templates and build marketing and sales automations.
- Integrate systems using APIs, webhooks, and no-code/low-code tools.
- Implement analytical codes and monitor data reliability.
