Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive WordPress websites that meet client requirements and industry best practices.
- Create concept pages, scope of work documents, and time estimates.
- Develop custom themes and plugins to enhance website functionality and user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of website components.
- Optimize website performance, including page load speed and mobile responsiveness.
- Implement and customize third-party integrations.
- Perform website updates, backups, and security enhancements.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure website functionality and compatibility across different browsers and devices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve website development processes.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a WordPress Website Designer & Developer.
- Ability to clearly communicate with clients via Zoom, email, and Trello boards in English.
- Ability to manage junior website developers.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins.
- Experience with responsive design and mobile optimization.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and implementation.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Additional Details:
Location: Full-time position (40 hours/week) with a long-term US-based company. Off-shore applicants are encouraged to apply. Must have a good and stable internet speed bandwidth and possess their technical equipment.
Working Hours: 8 am - 5 pm CDT. Mon - Fri.
