We are seeking a reliable, clean-working Web Developer with a strong WordPress focus (mid-level experience) to join our small, professional team. This role supports ongoing and new client projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing and further developing WordPress websites.
- Working with existing themes and page builders (e.g., Gutenberg, Elementor, or similar).
- Performing technical adjustments to themes and plugins.
- Maintenance, optimization, and bug fixing for existing sites.
- Close coordination with Design and Project Management (remote collaboration).
Required Skills & Experience:
- Solid experience in WordPress website development.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and foundational PHP (JS is a plus).
- Confident handling of themes, plugins, and standard WP workflows.
- Clean, structured working methodology.
- Very good German language skills (minimum C1 level required).
- Experience working remotely or demonstrating high self-reliance.
- Minimum 2 years of professional Web Development experience required.
Nice to Have (Not Required):
- Experience with performance optimization and SEO basics.
- Experience with Custom Fields (ACF or similar).
- Agency experience or experience working directly on client projects.
