LANGER Digital GmbH develops and supports individual WordPress solutions for clients across various industries. We focus on the technical advancement of high-traffic food blogs with complex template architectures, prioritizing performance, scalability, and clean code. Our work also includes custom company websites, modular systems, and internal web applications. Our team operates fully remotely and asynchronously. You will collaborate closely with Marvin while enjoying significant autonomy in technical implementation. We are seeking a Web Developer with a strong WordPress focus who is independent, takes ownership, and enjoys developing technically challenging web projects.
Your tasks include:
- Further development of existing WordPress projects and platforms
- Implementation of new websites and features based on design specifications
- Development of custom themes and custom plugins for WordPress
- Integration and development of REST API connections
- Performance optimization and structural improvements of existing systems
Ideally, you bring the following:
- Very good knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Solid experience in WordPress development
- Experience with REST APIs and external system integrations
- Proficiency in Git workflows
- Good knowledge of SQL / MySQL
- Understanding of clean code architecture and maintainable template structures
- Independent, reliable, and well-organized way of working
- German and English language skills
- Residence in Germany / Place of performance variable
