Experienced WordPress Web Designer/Developer

Summary

We are seeking an experienced WordPress Web Developer to manage site setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This role requires strong hosting knowledge, clear communication, and reliable availability.

Responsibilities

• Manage hosting environments, including cPanel, databases, backups, and email configuration.
• Set up development and staging environments.
• Migrate WordPress sites between hosts.
• Customize themes using CSS and basic PHP.
• Troubleshoot site errors, plugin conflicts, and performance issues.
• Perform regular WordPress updates and maintenance.
• Site speed optimization experience is a plus (portfolio examples welcome).

Qualifications

• Strong English communication skills.
• Available 3-5 hours per day between 10 AM – 5 PM EST.
• Reliable, timely, and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable with video calls and team communication tools such as Slack, Google Meet, Trello, Google Drive, and Gmail.
• Proactive, asks clarifying questions, and delivers high-quality work.
• DEALBREAKER: Zero tolerance for missed deadlines. Punctuality is essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
