Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites, ensuring optimal performance, responsiveness, and user experience. Duties

  • Develop, customize, and optimize WordPress themes and plugins to meet client specifications.
  • Collaborate with designers and content creators to implement responsive web designs using HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and web services to enhance website functionality.
  • Manage database interactions with MySQL and PostgreSQL to ensure data integrity and performance optimization.
  • Utilize version control systems such as Git and GitHub for code management and collaboration.
  • Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility across search engines.
  • Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness.
  • Maintain documentation of development processes using tools like Jira or Trello.
  • Deploy applications on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, leveraging containerization tools like Docker where applicable.
  • Collaborate within the SDLC framework to deliver high-quality software solutions efficiently.
  • Ensure websites adhere to UX principles and are optimized for performance using data visualization tools like D3.js or Chart.js.

Skills

  • Strong proficiency in WordPress development along with PHP, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, AJAX, Bootstrap, React, React Native, jQuery, Vue.js or Angular frameworks.
  • Experience with front-end development focusing on responsive web design principles for various devices.
  • Knowledge of back-end frameworks such as Django, Spring Framework, ASP.NET MVC/Core (.NET), Ruby on Rails or Node.js.
  • Familiarity with databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, SQLite or MongoDB; experience with SQL query optimization is advantageous.
  • Experience working with APIs (RESTful & SOAP), GraphQL and web services integration.
  • Proficiency in version control systems such as Git (including GitHub) or SVN (Subversion).
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools including Jenkins, Ansible or Docker for deployment automation.
  • Understanding of system architecture principles for scalable application development on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and web design principles aimed at enhancing user experience (UX).
  • Experience with web security standards and protocols to safeguard websites against vulnerabilities.
