Our client is an international product-based IT company specializing in the iGaming industry, established in 2014 and expanding globally from its strong foundation in the CIS region.
We are seeking a talented WordPress & Next.js Developer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities and Your Contribution:
WordPress Development:
- Development and maintenance of custom themes and plugins.
- Building Gutenberg blocks, working with ACF, CPTs, and taxonomies.
- Third-party service integrations and REST API development.
- Maintaining multilingual projects and hreflang.
Next.js Development:
- Frontend development with Next.js + WordPress as a headless CMS.
- Working with REST API / WPGraphQL.
- SSG, ISR, SSR, and caching implementation.
- SEO implementation: metadata, Open Graph, schema.org, sitemap, robots.txt, canonical, hreflang.
- Core Web Vitals optimisation.
General Development Tasks:
- Landing page development and migration of projects to headless architecture.
- Affiliate tracking and third-party service integrations.
- Collaborating with the SEO team on technical optimisation.
- Git, code review, and documenting solutions.
Your Qualifications:
- Strong PHP skills and a solid understanding of WordPress: hooks, filters, template hierarchy, plugins.
- Proven experience developing custom themes and plugins.
- Proficiency with Gutenberg + React, ACF.
- Expertise in JavaScript / TypeScript, React, Next.js App Router.
- Understanding of SSG / ISR / SSR.
- Solid HTML/CSS and responsive markup skills.
- Experience with REST API.
- Proficiency with Git, webpack / Vite.
- Knowledge of Technical SEO and Core Web Vitals.
- Experience with Yoast / Rank Math.
- Experience with multilingual websites.
- Experience using AI tools/agents in development.
Nice to Have:
- WPGraphQL, Tailwind CSS.
- Vercel or self-hosted Node.js.
- Cloudflare / CDN.
- CI/CD.
- Affiliate marketing and tracking experience.
