Experienced WordPress Developer (Remote)
Honeycomb Creative is seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to work on new and existing websites. This is a remote position with a preference for Canadian applicants.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in ACF, Foundation, Java, JavaScript, and PHP, with a strong interest in complex web development projects. You should have extensive experience with WordPress websites and be familiar with WooCommerce. This role is not suitable for individuals whose experience is primarily with theme builders (e.g., Elementor, Bakery, Divi) or those new to WordPress.
Expectations:
- Flexible work hours, with partial availability required during regular client hours (8:30 am - 4:30 pm PST).
- Collaborative team environment; no weekend work.
- High skill level in English speaking and writing is essential.
Minimum Requirements:
This is NOT an entry-level position.
- Proven WordPress programming experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Reliability and strong work ethic.
What you will need:
As this is a remote position, you must have:
- A fast/broadband internet connection.
- Your own computer.
- A webcam and microphone for Slack calls and Zoom meetings.
