This is a full-time, remote position that will report to our Web Development Lead. The pay range for this role is $65,000-75,000, based on experience. We also have a quarterly bonus plan based on performance. We offer an HRA health plan with our benefits, flexible time off, and 10 paid holidays each year.
No offense to freelancers or contractors, but we’re only open to hiring an FTE for this position.

Position Summary

The WordPress Developer will be responsible for the following:
- Follow tasks related to building/styling content in WordPress, Wix, Squarespace and Webflow without mockups
- Style website content to match the customer’s brand
- Build new website pages and update existing content
- Work in various website page builders including, WPBakery, Elementor, BeaverBuilder and others
- Stay abreast of new developments in software, trends, and practices
Requirements/Qualifications
Requirement: extremely proficient in CSS in order to style content to look the way you want (must be able to pass a CSS test).
- An associate or bachelor's degree, preferably in graphic design, computer programming, computer science or a related field
- 3+ years’ experience with WordPress related technologies
- Proficiency using WordPress
- Knowledge of front-end technologies including PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery
- A good understanding of website architectures
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and fundamentals is a plus but not required
- Experience using debugging tools such as Firebug and Chrome Inspector
- Strong understanding of front-end website development
- Always ready to tackle a new challenge or learn something new
- Not just a doer, a thinker — always considers “why” something is being done, not just that it needs to be done
