Schedule: Full-time
Salary: $18,000 MXN net monthly (approximate, based on skills)

We are looking for a WordPress Developer passionate about web architecture, with the ability to structure robust, clear, and easy-to-maintain sites. Key Responsibilities:

• Custom Development: Create and program custom themes from scratch, natively integrated into the WordPress core.
• Content Architecture: Implement functional templates, advanced content structures, and make precise adjustments to the theme according to the needs of each project.
• Logic and Extensibility: Develop and support hooks (actions & filters) at a basic and intermediate level to extend the platform's functionalities.
• Dynamic Queries: Work with dynamic queries using WP_Query, get_posts, among other native functions.
• Ecosystem Management: Install, configure, audit, and review third-party plugins, ensuring strict compatibility, security, and performance criteria.
• Frontend Layout: Translate designs into clean code using semantic HTML5, responsive CSS3 (media queries, best practices), and functional JavaScript (DOM manipulation, events, and integration).
• Technical Infrastructure Support: Provide basic technical assistance in hosting environments, including DNS management, SSL certificate installation, general configurations, and site migration.
• Version Control: Systematically use Git and GitHub for version control, secure deployments, and technical documentation of important changes.

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience developing custom WordPress themes.
• Solid mastery of the WordPress Template Hierarchy.
• Use of basic hooks (actions and filters) and creation of custom functions.
• Knowledge of correct enqueuing of scripts and styles (wp_enqueue_script / wp_enqueue_style).
• Technical mastery of Frontend: semantic HTML5, responsive CSS3, and functional JavaScript.
• Knowledge in Backend/PHP focused on WordPress (versions 7.x and 8.x) and basic notions of data sanitization and escaping to secure the website.
• Management of hosting administration panels (for example, cPanel or Plesk) and basic web networking concepts (.htaccess, DNS, SSL, migration).
• Operational use of Git and GitHub for repository management.
• General knowledge and maintenance of websites built with Elementor.

Pluses that add points (Desirable):

• Management of ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) for creating advanced custom fields.
• Knowledge and application of technical SEO best practices in WordPress.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD to correctly interpret and export layouts.
• Basic experience with caching systems such as LiteSpeed Cache for loading speed optimization.
