We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team and enhance our online presence through innovative web development. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in WordPress platform customization, front-end and back-end development, and integrating various web technologies to create engaging, responsive websites that meet our business needs.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
- Customize themes and plugins to align with brand identity and functional requirements.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to develop user-friendly interfaces that enhance user experience.
- Implement responsive web design projects to ensure seamless functionality across all devices.
- Integrate third-party APIs and web services to extend website capabilities.
- Optimize websites for SEO, speed, and accessibility standards to improve visibility and engagement.
- Manage version control systems and deployment pipelines using tools such as GitHub, SVN, or similar developer tools.
Requirements
- Proven experience in WordPress development with a strong portfolio of live projects.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and popular JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or SCSS/SASS for developing responsive designs.
- Experience working with databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB for data management.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON data formats, and integrating web services into WordPress sites.
- Understanding of system architecture principles and DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN is essential.
- Ability to work within Agile software development methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., WooCommerce), SEO best practices, and web design principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities to collaborate effectively across teams.
