Our client is actively seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to design, build, and maintain high-performance websites. This full-time, remote role demands expertise in WordPress theme customization, plugin development, performance optimization, and robust site security. The ideal candidate will ensure all websites are visually engaging, fully responsive, and optimized for speed, SEO, and superior user experience.

Responsibilities

Website Development

  • Build and customize WordPress sites using themes, popular page builders (Elementor, Divi, WPBakery), or custom coding solutions.
  • Develop and modify child themes for enhanced long-term maintainability.
  • Create custom templates for landing pages, blogs, and content-heavy websites.

Plugin Management & Customization

  • Install, configure, and customize essential WordPress plugins for critical functionality (e.g., WooCommerce, Yoast SEO, Contact Form 7).
  • Build or extend existing plugins using PHP when specific requirements arise.
  • Ensure seamless compatibility of plugins with themes and during updates.

Front-End & UX

  • Accurately convert Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD designs into pixel-perfect WordPress pages.
  • Guarantee responsive, cross-browser, and cross-device compatibility for all web assets.
  • Implement web accessibility best practices, adhering to WCAG standards.
