Starting as an agency, we've helped thousands of clients succeed. Now, we're transitioning to a SaaS-first company, blending human expertise with AI and automation to create affordable solutions that provide peace of mind and measurable success for business owners.
The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled WordPress Developer with strong front-end and full-stack capabilities to support a fast-paced SEO and digital marketing organization. This role focuses on building high-quality, pixel-perfect WordPress themes and websites using Gutenberg and ACF, strictly avoiding visual site builders like Elementor or Divi.
This is not a management position. However, the ideal candidate will bring mature development practices, structured workflows, and reliable deployment standards to enhance team consistency and delivery cadence. Given our high volume of client websites, this role requires an operations-minded developer who prioritizes scalability, production efficiency, and long-term maintainability. A strong understanding of technical SEO and site performance is essential, ensuring development decisions directly support search visibility, speed, accessibility, and measurable marketing outcomes.
Core Responsibilities
- Build responsive, performant, and accessible WordPress websites using Gutenberg, ACF, and custom code.
- Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, production-ready implementations.
- Develop and maintain custom themes and plugins.
- Establish and uphold development standards, QA processes, and deployment workflows.
- Collaborate closely with design, engineering, UX/UI, RevOps, and marketing teams, including support for tracking, analytics, and campaign execution.
- Optimize sites for performance, SEO, accessibility, and security.
- Conduct code reviews and provide clear, constructive technical feedback.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and serve as an escalation point when needed.
- Contribute to project planning, timelines, and on-time delivery of web and campaign assets.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional front-end and WordPress development experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in:
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- WordPress theme and plugin development
- Custom Gutenberg block development and ACF-driven architectures
- Deep understanding of pixel-accurate implementation from Figma.
- Proficiency with Git-based version control and modern deployment workflows.
- Experience with WP-CLI, performance optimization tools, and debugging workflows.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and WordPress database structure.
- Familiarity with Agile collaboration across design, development, and QA.
- Solid grasp of technical SEO, accessibility (WCAG), and web security best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Process-oriented mindset with the ability to introduce scalable workflows and standards.
- Highly collaborative and comfortable working cross-functionally.
- Detail-driven with a strong commitment to code quality and visual precision.
- Continuous learner who stays current with modern WordPress and SEO/web development practices.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive pay based on your experience.
- Flexible work: 100% remote; Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm EST.
- Work-life balance: Generous PTO, including 15 vacation days and U.S. holidays.
- Growth-oriented culture: Join an inclusive, international, and innovative team where your contributions make a tangible difference.
Our Culture
