Job Summary

We are seeking a Remote WordPress Developer focused on delivering fast, scalable, and high-performing websites across diverse projects. Essential expertise includes WordPress, Node.js, technical & off-page SEO, performance optimization, and UI/UX design.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites remotely.
• Handle Node.js integrations and backend logic.
• Optimize website speed and performance, focusing on Core Web Vitals, caching, and lazy loading.
• Implement image compression and media optimization (e.g., WebP, responsive images).
• Support off-page SEO and technical SEO requirements.
• Write clean, maintainable code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Java.
• Ensure responsive UI/UX across desktop and mobile devices.
• Fix bugs, resolve plugin conflicts, and address performance issues.
• Manage updates, backups, and website security protocols.
• Work effectively with staging and live environments.
• Collaborate remotely using tools like Slack, Trello, Teams, Asana, or other project management platforms.

Required Skills

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer; remote experience is highly valued.
• Strong knowledge of Node.js.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Java.
• Experience supporting off-page SEO and technical SEO strategies.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles.
