How We Evaluate Developers
To apply, please include:
- Links to 2–3 WooCommerce sites you built or optimized most recently
- For each project, briefly describe:
- The performance or conversion problem you solved
- What you removed or simplified
- Measurable results (speed, AOV, conversion, plugin reduction)
- Your typical approach to reducing plugin bloat
- Your availability and hourly/project rate
We are looking for someone who:
- Works efficiently
- Communicates clearly
- Identifies problems early
- Recommends simpler solutions instead of adding complexity
Engagement Structure
The engagement will begin with an initial paid audit covering performance, plugins, and architecture. This will be followed by implementation phases based on priorities. Ongoing support may be possible for the right fit.
What This Role Is Not
- Not a "plugin installer"
- Not a theme-only customizer
- Not an agency handoff to junior developers
We’re looking for a senior WooCommerce engineer who can own outcomes.
