Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and optimize WooCommerce-based online stores to meet evolving business needs.
- Manage daily website operations, including content updates, product listings, and promotional campaigns.
- Implement new plugins, themes, and integrations to enhance site functionality and user experience.
- Monitor website performance metrics and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Ensure website security by applying best practices and staying current with security updates.
- Conduct regular audits of the website’s technical health, including plugin compatibility and speed optimization.
- Stay informed about the latest trends in e-commerce technology and incorporate innovative solutions.
- Manage all front-end and back-end website development, ensuring smooth operations, backups, and maintenance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of working experience with WooCommerce (WooSubscriptions and WooMemberships required) and other Woo/WordPress plugins.
- Proven experience developing and managing WooCommerce stores with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
- Solid understanding of WordPress architecture, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
- Experience with website hosting environments and server management.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Working experience in AI LLMs, chatbots, generative AI assistants, software, plugins, and tools is preferred.
- Speaks English at an idiomatic level.
- Lives in any of the following time zones: Central, Pacific, Mountain, or Hawaii time zone.
