Web/WordPress Developer
We are seeking an entrepreneurial, responsible, and efficient Web/WordPress Developer to join our team. You will collaborate with designers, programmers, and project managers to build interactive mobile applications and web-based projects, taking ownership of development and architecture. As a Web/WordPress Developer, you will work with diverse clientele across corporate, entertainment, food, sports marketing, and consumer brands. If you are passionate about becoming an integral part of a cutting-edge marketing firm, this is the role for you.
Responsibilities:
- Write organized code and edit, debug, or adjust existing websites.
- Develop custom WordPress themes using frameworks in local server environments (e.g., MAMP, Local by Flywheel).
- Manage SQL databases and potentially APIs.
- Set up Content Management Systems (CMS) for custom post types using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
- Install, migrate, and launch new websites.
Requirements & Skills:
- Solid experience in developing WordPress frameworks/themes, SQL databases, and APIs.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and SCSS.
- Experience with JavaScript, PHP, SQL, and WordPress development in MAMP or Local by Flywheel.
- Ability to use web developer tools for website analysis.
- Experience customizing and building custom WordPress themes and frameworks.
- Comfort working with Adobe Photoshop and Figma.
- Strong interpersonal skills and fluent English (speaking and writing).
- Excellent organizational, written communication, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of coding and deploying email campaigns via MailChimp, Hubspot, or Salesforce is a plus.
