We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Website Developer with hands-on industry experience to design, develop, and maintain responsive, user-friendly websites. The ideal candidate possesses strong front-end development skills, a solid grasp of back-end concepts, and excellent collaboration abilities for working with technical and design teams.
This is a full-time role offering a flexible, remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications and websites.
- Convert UI/UX designs into clean, high-quality, reusable code.
- Develop front-end features utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
- Integrate websites with back-end systems, REST APIs, and various third-party services.
- Optimize websites for performance, SEO, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Maintain and enhance existing websites, addressing bugs and issues promptly.
- Work effectively with CMS platforms such as WordPress or Shopify (as applicable).
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to website security protocols and best development practices.
- Stay current with the latest web development trends and technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of industry experience as a Website Developer or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Proven experience with responsive design and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Vue, or similar).
- Basic understanding of back-end technologies (e.g., PHP, Node.js, or similar).
- Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and third-party integration processes.
- Understanding of web performance optimization and basic SEO principles.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Next.js, etc.).
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles and design systems.
- Experience deploying websites on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
- Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment.
