Web Developer / WordPress Developer (Remote, UK Based)
100AND10%, a boutique, full-service digital marketing agency, is seeking a skilled Web Developer / WordPress Developer to join our close-knit team. This role involves supporting the design and build of high-quality, conversion-focused websites for a diverse range of clients, primarily within the fitness and sports industries.
We are looking for a proactive individual who enjoys problem-solving and taking ownership of their work. While WordPress is the core platform, there is significant scope to broaden technical skills across a wider digital ecosystem including CRM, analytics, SEO tools, and some Umbraco/C# projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and support WordPress websites daily, working on both client projects and ongoing site improvements.
- Develop front-end layouts, often utilizing custom-coded blocks or Elementor.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide support for existing live sites.
- Contribute ideas to improve website performance, usability, and conversion rates.
- Build and integrate APIs, connecting front-end applications to internal and third-party services.
- Support web-focused technical projects aimed at improving client business operations efficiency.
Key Requirements:
Candidates should have experience as a Web Developer, WordPress Developer, Front-End Developer, or similar, demonstrating:
- Strong experience building websites in WordPress.
- Confidence with core web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Experience working with Elementor and/or custom WordPress blocks.
- Familiarity with common WordPress plugins such as WooCommerce, Gravity Forms, ACF, and The Events Calendar.
- Comfort working on front-end layouts (Bootstrap experience is a plus).
- A practical, problem-solving mindset and willingness to support live sites.
- An interest in learning wider digital platforms (CRM, email, analytics, SEO, tagging, etc.).
- A proactive, positive attitude suited to a small agency environment.
- Minimum 2 years of WordPress development experience (required).
Preferred Skills:
- Any exposure to Umbraco/C# is advantageous but not essential.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Pay: £32,000.00–£35,000.00 per year
