Web Developer - Tagalog Speaker (Full-Time)

Primary Purpose

The Web Developer assists the team in developing and maintaining systems according to business needs. This role involves creating unique and engaging web page designs using computer programming skills. The goal is to write code, learn, and take notes from senior team members. Depending on proficiency, the role may start in a pair programming environment and transition to remote work with flexible scheduling within team deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide and organize codes for new video websites using open source and existing in-house technology.
• Keep existing websites functional and updated with new technology and content; may also create new concepts.
• Create widgets for online video on the PSI company website.
• Assist in making designs and testing technical solutions.
• Perform and execute plans and coding standards per PSI protocol.
• Advocate time management and work under deadlines.
• Apply knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service on projects.
• Actively apply feedback received to day-to-day work and strive to improve performance.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate the ability to work diligently under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Ensure professional communication with PSI clients and internal staff, presenting PSI in the best image.
• Handle all client and internal staff communications through the PSI official number and follow email equities.
• Maintain a deep understanding of clients’ needs and monitor their preferences.
• Develop a strong knowledge of PSI products and services, understanding how their benefits meet client needs across various business verticals.
• Handle all Mylead errors.
• Enhance Mylead (e.g., added bulk upload feature, refresh buttons to load leads, tested SMS login).
• Create and publish around 35 Power BI reports per team, lead details, transactions, and units.
• Publish reports to Mylead; the scheduler will refresh those reports every 2 hours.
• Create, maintain, and distribute monthly reports showing achievement of critical metrics regarding content creation, website traffic, and other Pipeline work stages.

Development & Design Contributions

• Developed xhtml/css/javascript for various projects using Suite CS5, Power BI.
• Maintained the current website and added more appealing features.
• Redesigned sections of the website to ensure a more attractive and user-friendly experience.
• Updated website content daily.
• Redesigned existing website to improve user experience and incorporated SEO techniques, thereby increasing daily traffic.
• Designed and developed functional dashboards for users.
• Worked closely with the marketing team and back-end developer to develop a strategy and plan website releases.

Qualifications & Experience

Required Experience (Based on Section 2)

• 1–2 years of experience in Web Developing or a similar role.
• BS in computer science or a related field (Attested Degree Mandate).
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (Preferably React or Angular).
• Experience with server-side frameworks such as PHP (Preferably .NET core).
• Experience with database systems such as SQL and MySQL.
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.

Alternative Qualifications (Based on Section 3)

• 2–4 years of experience in Web Developing or similar role.
• BS in computer science or a related field (Attested Degree Mandate).
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS (LESS/SASS), and Javascript.
• Experience with server-side frameworks such as python, ruby, php, Java, ASP, ASP.NET.
• Experience with database systems such as SQL and Oracle.
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay: AED9,000.00 - AED11,000.00 per month
