Web Developer – Shopify Expert with UI/UX, AI & SEO Skills

We are seeking a dedicated Web Developer with a strong focus on Shopify to enhance our high-volume e-commerce websites. This role requires expertise in UI/UX design, technical SEO, and AI implementation. If you excel at creating visually appealing, code-optimized experiences and leveraging AI to boost user engagement and conversions, this is an exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Shopify and WordPress/WooCommerce websites daily.
• Customize Shopify themes using Liquid/Ruby, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Develop responsive, high-performance designs from Figma mockups.
• Optimize website speed to achieve consistent Google PageSpeed scores of 80+.
• Continuously improve UI/UX across desktop and mobile platforms.
• Implement AI-driven features such as recommendation engines, smart search, and personalization.
• Monitor and enhance technical SEO, including structured data, crawlability, and metadata.
• Oversee hosting, DNS, email reputation, and security protocols.
• Manage app/plugin updates and recommend optimal Shopify apps.
• Collaborate with marketing, design, and leadership teams.

Minimum Requirements

• 4+ years of experience managing high-volume U.S.-based e-commerce sites.
• Proficient in Shopify development with Liquid & Ruby.
• In-depth knowledge of the Shopify App Store and app integrations.
• Advanced skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
• Strong UI/UX design sensibility, understanding spacing, typography, flow, and hierarchy.
• Solid SEO skills, including page structure, schema, metatags, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.
• Familiarity with AI tools and APIs for e-commerce (e.g., OpenAI, Rebuy, Octane AI).
• Experience with email marketing integrations (Klaviyo, Mailchimp) and DNS authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
• Proven ability to translate design files (Figma/XD) into responsive layouts.
• Professional references and experience working with U.S. teams are preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $75,000.00 per month
