What Awaits You
As a Web Developer (all genders) at dc, you don't just develop features - you work on solutions that are truly used in our customers' daily lives. You are confident in the backend, but also think outside the box and understand how your work is embedded in a larger system.
You will collaboratively develop our PHP/MySQL-based e-commerce platform, implement new functions, and adapt existing solutions to individual customer requirements. You will work with modern tools, test-driven approaches, and a current tech stack in web development.
In addition to classic web development, you are also close to our products: You support the introduction of our software, participate in ERP development, and together with the team, ensure that our platform remains stable, scalable, and future-proof.
In short: You write code that not only works but has a real impact.
Your Tasks
- Develop object-oriented web applications following DDD principles in PHP and JavaScript.
- Work with relational and document-based databases as well as ORM tools.
- Operate and further develop our e-commerce platform in the cloud according to DevOps principles.
- Set up and adapt our dynamic commerce software products for customers according to their requirements.
- Gain insights into development in the ERP system Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and contribute as needed.
- Work in agile, cross-team projects following SCRUM.
Your Skills
- Technically proficient in backend development, working with PHP, JavaScript, and databases, and maintaining an overview even with complex requirements.
- Write clean, maintainable code and have a good understanding of object-oriented development and sensible software architecture.
- Think in solutions and contexts and understand how your work impacts the overall system and the business context of our customers.
- Find pragmatic solutions, know how to prioritize correctly, and make good decisions between 'perfect' and 'functional'.
- Work independently and as part of a team, reliably drive topics forward, and be eager to learn new technologies and topics.
