What your day will look like…

As an E-commerce Developer, you will be responsible for developing and designing responsive, user-friendly and optimized web pages using a variety of technologies. You will collaborate closely with distributed teams to ensure a smooth user experience and implement innovative features that enhance the overall functionality and performance of web-based systems.

Job Details:

You should have a solid understanding of e-commerce principles and with an eye for beautiful codes and coherent frameworks used in building superb e-commerce websites. You have a creative mind, and you solve problems with awesome technological solutions.

• Collaborate with internal teams to translate business requirements and wireframes into functional and visually appealing web pages.
• Create and maintain web applications and APIs to facilitate seamless integration between the e-commerce website, payment gateways, inventory management systems, and other third-party platforms.
• Optimize website performance, including page load speed, scalability, and responsiveness across different devices and browsers.
• Conduct regular testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of website functionalities to ensure a smooth user experience and resolve any technical issues.
• Ensure website security and data protection measures are in place, including secure payment processing, user authentication, and data encryption.
• Perform other related duties, as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• At least three (3) years of experience in web development specifically with e-commerce websites, with a strong portfolio of previous projects.
• You have excellent JavaScript skills.
• You have superior skills using these technologies: WordPress, WooCommerce and Shopify plus plug in development.
• Experience working on any of these frameworks: Angular, Vue, React, Bootstrap or similar frameworks.
• You have a good eye for UI/UX design.
• You are proficient in web security and administration.
• You have good English communication skills.
• You are self-motivated, innovative and can stay abreast with the latest trends and technologies in the industry

Your non-negotiable remote working requirements are:

• Candidate must have a stable, lined internet connection
• Candidate must have a decent work space at home
• Personal laptop or computer is necessary

Pay: Up to RM8,000.00 per month
