Duties
- Develop, test, and deploy responsive web applications using front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, React, and Bootstrap.
- Build and maintain scalable back-end services with frameworks like Spring, Django, ASP.NET Core, or Ruby on Rails, integrating APIs and web services for robust data exchange.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies to plan sprints, manage tasks via Trello or Jira, and ensure timely delivery of features.
- Implement data visualization solutions utilizing tools like JSON, AJAX, GraphQL, and various charting libraries to present complex data clearly and interactively.
- Manage databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and SQL Server for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Ensure application security and performance through best practices in DevOps workflows involving Docker containers, CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitHub Actions, and cloud deployment on AWS or Azure.
- Conduct unit testing and code reviews to uphold high-quality standards; utilize Visual Studio or similar IDEs for development activities.
- Optimize websites for SEO best practices and ensure compliance with accessibility standards to maximize reach and usability.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in full-stack web development with a strong portfolio demonstrating projects built with HTML5, CSS3 (including SCSS/Sass), JavaScript (including frameworks like Angular or React), and server-side technologies such as PHP or C#.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, JSON data interchange format, and GraphQL for efficient data communication.
- Hands-on experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with version control systems including Git or SVN; experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of application deployment on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure; experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins or Ansible is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities; capable of translating complex requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience working with content management systems such as WordPress or Drupal is advantageous.
- Understanding of UX/UI principles to create intuitive interfaces that enhance user engagement.
