The Role
We build websites that do not just look good, they perform. We are looking for a Web Developer who can move fluently between code and craft: someone who writes clean, efficient WordPress and Duda builds, but never loses sight of how a layout, a load time, or a single button placement affects the person on the other end of the screen.
This is a hands on, ownership driven role. You will take sites from concept to launch, work directly with clients when it counts, and partner closely with our design, integrations, marketing, and project teams to make sure every site we ship is fast, functional, and on-brand.
What You Will Do
Build, Design & Launch
- Develop and deploy client websites from scratch in WordPress and Duda, following our established build process, ensuring every site is fully functional, responsive, and visually polished.
- Design layouts, page structures, and high converting page flows that align with client goals and brand guidelines across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
- Perform thorough QA before every launch and after every update, checking accuracy, performance, and cross-browser/cross-device compatibility.
- Manage ongoing maintenance for live sites: content updates, structural changes, bug fixes, and ongoing performance and SEO-friendly optimizations.
Collaborate & Solve
- Partner with your team lead, Integrations, Marketing Strategists, and Project teams to keep functionality and messaging aligned across every platform a site touches.
- Troubleshoot technical and design issues as they come up, ask questions early, and pitch in wherever the team needs support.
- Work with the lead web designer, conversion designers, and SEO team so every site design ladders up to the client's broader strategy.
- Contribute ideas that improve site performance, usability, and conversion and help implement them.
What You Bring
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Web Design, Graphic Design (with a development focus), Computer Science, or a related field equivalent hands-on experience.
- 6+ years of professional experience in web design, front-end/back-end development, or a comparable role.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating real web design and development work, with meaningful WordPress experience.
Technical Skills
- Solid command of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress, with a clear grasp of responsive and adaptive design principles.
- Familiarity with front-end platforms beyond WordPress (Duda, Squarespace, Wix, Webflow) and page builders like Elementor or Divi.
- Comfort with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva.
- Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and Google Analytics.
- Bonus: back-end experience with PHP and MySQL.
