Duties
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality websites and web applications utilizing front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, React, Bootstrap, and UI/UX best practices.
- Build robust back-end systems using frameworks like Django, Spring Framework, Ruby on Rails, ASP.NET, Node.js, PHP, and Python to ensure seamless data flow and application performance.
- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party web services such as SOAP and GraphQL to enhance functionality and interoperability.
- Manage databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, SQLite, and others for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Utilize version control systems like GitHub and SVN for code management; employ CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or Azure DevOps for continuous integration and deployment.
- Develop responsive web designs that adapt seamlessly across devices using Wireframing tools and responsive frameworks like Bootstrap and SCSS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies via tools like Jira and Trello to ensure timely project delivery; participate in system architecture planning and user flow optimization.
- Conduct unit testing to ensure code quality; optimize websites for SEO; implement web design principles that prioritize accessibility and user engagement.
- Leverage cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for deployment; utilize containerization tools like Docker for scalable application hosting; implement DevOps practices for streamlined development cycles.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in full-stack web development with a strong portfolio demonstrating projects utilizing HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (including frameworks like Angular or React), and backend languages such as Python, PHP or Java.
- Familiarity with modern development tools including Visual Studio, GitHub, Jenkins, Jira, Trello, Ansible automation tools, and version control systems like SVN.
- Hands-on experience working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) as well as NoSQL databases such as MongoDB; knowledge of SQL query optimization is a plus.
- Strong understanding of system architecture principles including MVC patterns; experience deploying applications on Tomcat or similar servers is desirable.
- Knowledge of cloud services (AWS or Azure), containerization (Docker), CI/CD pipelines, Linux environments, and DevOps practices.
- Ability to create wireframes and prototypes to visualize user flows; understanding of UX/UI design principles to craft engaging interfaces.
- Experience working within Agile development environments using Scrum or Kanban methodologies; familiarity with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly across teams.
