Quick Summary
Gestibase is recruiting 2 to 3 web developers — Immediate boarding!
The Gestibase frigate is weighing anchor… and looking for new sailors!
For over 25 years, our frigate has been sailing the seas of work-study training. Fast, maneuverable, lightly armed but redoubtably effective, it supports training centers in the administrative and pedagogical management of their courses: initial school, apprenticeship, and continuing education.
Gestibase in a few figures:
410+ clients in France and overseas territories
8 employees (and soon 10 or 11 with you!)
More than 100,000 users
€1.7M turnover in 2025
Based in Morbihan, but spread throughout France thanks to teleworking
Our ship is entering a phase of redesign and consolidation of its software foundations, with harmonization of our development and production tools. The challenge is double: continue to satisfy our loyal customers and prepare for the next 10/15 years of navigation.
Why are we recruiting 2 to 3 developer deckhands?
Because a major redesign cannot be led alone at the helm. We are looking for 2 to 3 web developers to strengthen the crew and accelerate our technical transformation.
Teleworking at Gestibase: a real commitment, not just a comfort
Let's be clear from the start: with us, teleworking has existed for over 25 years. It is neither a fad nor a cosmetic advantage. It is our DNA.
But teleworking is demanding. Navigating solo from your home port requires:
- Autonomy and rigor — no watch officer behind your shoulder
- Concentration — days are dense, the work is real
- A sense of collective distance — a tight-knit crew even when separated by hundreds of nautical miles
- A full personal life on the side
This last point is essential for us. Teleworking only works sustainably if you have a life outside your screen: family, friends, sports, community involvement, gardening, music, sailing, Basque pelota, or apple pie — it doesn't matter, but something that anchors you in your territory and in reality.
We are not looking for ghost sailors connected 14 hours a day. We are looking for balanced people who enjoy their region, their loved ones, and their passions, and who bring this energy to work.
The technical environment on board:
- PHP: Zend, CodeIgniter, Symfony
- JavaScript: Vanilla, jQuery
- HTML / CSS: Bootstrap and No Framework
- Database: MySQL
- Versioning: Git
- Methodology: Agile (SCRUM), adapted to the short, medium, and long term
The profile we are looking to bring on board
- You have at least 2 years of experience in web development and PHP
- You have had enriching experiences, perhaps you are in a career change, and you are looking for new challenges
- You appreciate working independently within a tight-knit crew
- You care about a job well done and have a sense of customer relations
- You want to stay in telework to enjoy your region and continue to be close to your community, family, sports, or other activities
- English is a plus, but not mandatory
Above all, we are looking for a personality, and a trustworthy personality.
