We are seeking a Web Developer with experience in website and web application development to join our digital team. This role involves creating and maintaining custom client projects, working on both new initiatives and evolving existing platforms. Responsibilities include developing landing pages, corporate websites, and e-commerce sites, customizing themes and plugins, integrating external services, and optimizing site performance and security. The ideal candidate will autonomously manage diverse projects, selecting the most appropriate technical solutions. Solid proficiency with WordPress, including standard management and custom theme/plugin development, is essential, along with good knowledge of major CMS platforms. Mastery of popular page builders and the ability to translate graphic designs into faithful, functional, and high-performing web pages are also crucial. The position requires operational autonomy, the ability to manage multiple parallel projects, and a collaborative approach with the creative team to transform design and content ideas into concrete solutions. We prioritize candidates experienced in Core Web Vitals optimization, technical SEO, and familiar with versioning and deployment workflows.
Main Responsibilities:
- Development and maintenance of landing pages, corporate websites, and e-commerce platforms
- Customization of WordPress themes and plugins
- Implementation, configuration, and management of CMS
- Transformation of graphic designs into web pages faithful to the design, functional, and responsive
- Optimization of performance, technical SEO, and security
- Integration with external services, payment gateways, and third-party APIs
- Support for the creative team in choosing the most suitable technical solutions
Essential Requirements:
- Experience in web development (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript)
- Excellent knowledge of WordPress (themes, plugins, custom development)
- Experience in developing both showcase sites and e-commerce platforms
- Proficiency with main page builders (Elementor, Divi, Bricks, or equivalents)
- Ability to transform graphic designs into web pages faithful to the design, responsive, and cross-browser
- Good familiarity with main CMS beyond WordPress
- Knowledge of PHP and MySQL
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects in parallel
- Attention to usability, accessibility, and responsive design
Optional Requirements:
- Knowledge of main graphic design programs (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma)
- Knowledge of Python
- Knowledge of modern JS frameworks (React, Vue)
- Familiarity with Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or other CSS frameworks
- Knowledge of Git and deploy workflows
- Experience in Core Web Vitals optimization and technical SEO
- Familiarity with Linux environments and hosting management
What we offer:

Hours: ≥ 30 weekly from Monday to Friday
Work mode: The position requires on-site work at our Alghero office and is aimed at direct employment. Freelance, VAT number, or remote work applications will not be considered.
