Web Developer Role Overview
As a Web Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain dynamic, responsive websites that meet client specifications and optimize user experience. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams (designers, content creators, project managers) to deliver high-quality web solutions aligned with business goals.
You will handle both front-end and back-end development tasks, ensuring seamless integration of visual elements with server-side logic. Key focus areas include optimizing website performance, implementing security best practices, and staying current with emerging web technologies.
Location & Clearance Requirements
Location: Remote. Candidates must be currently located in, or willing to relocate to, one of the following states supported by Tripoint Solutions corporate offices: AL, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, LA, MD, MN, MS, NC, NJ, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, or VA. (Relocation assistance is not provided.)
Clearance: Applicants may be subject to a government security investigation. USA Citizenship is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy responsive websites and web applications using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Customize and maintain Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress and Drupal to meet client requirements.
- Implement UI design principles for intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate wireframes and mockups into functional web pages.
- Optimize website performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Integrate third-party libraries and frameworks, including Bootstrap and jQuery, to enhance functionality.
- Maintain code quality through version control and documentation.
- Stay updated with the latest web development trends to continuously improve processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience designing and developing websites or web applications.
- Proven experience as a Web Developer or in a similar web development role.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP programming languages.
- Experience working with CMS platforms, specifically WordPress and Drupal.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and UI/UX best practices.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap) and JavaScript libraries (e.g., jQuery).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with accessibility standards and advanced responsive design techniques.
