Overview
We are seeking a talented and innovative Web Designer & Developer to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Design and develop visually appealing websites using tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Create engaging interaction designs, motion graphics, and UI/UX elements to enhance user engagement.
- Implement responsive front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular, React, and other frameworks.
- Develop custom themes and plugins for WordPress, Drupal, or SharePoint platforms to meet specific client requirements.
- Optimize websites for SEO and web accessibility standards to improve visibility and usability.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to refine website features and improve user experience.
- Maintain existing websites through regular updates, security patches, and performance enhancements using tools like Git, Node.js, Redux, SCSS/SASS, Less, and PHP.
- Perform data analysis using Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and other tools to monitor website performance and inform improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on digital marketing campaigns including email marketing via Mailchimp or similar platforms.
- Ensure website functionality across browsers and devices by adhering to best practices in information architecture and usability principles.
Experience
- Proven experience in digital design with a strong portfolio showcasing website projects involving UI/UX design, motion graphics, logo design, and visual branding.
- Demonstrated proficiency in web development including front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) as well as back-end skills (PHP, MySQL).
- Hands-on experience with content management systems such as WordPress or Drupal; familiarity with website maintenance tasks.
- Skilled in using design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, InVision, Axure, Balsamiq, Sketch.
- Knowledge of modern frameworks like Bootstrap, Angular, React; experience with AJAX for dynamic content loading.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and web accessibility standards to ensure inclusive digital experiences.
- Ability to analyze data from Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics to inform design decisions and optimize site performance.
- Strong understanding of information architecture principles along with usability testing methodologies.
- Experience working within collaborative environments utilizing version control systems like Git; knowledge of Node.js or Redux is a plus.
