Duties

• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into fully functional, visually appealing web pages using HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Develop responsive web designs that adapt flawlessly to desktops, tablets, and smartphones, ensuring optimal user experiences across all devices.
• Implement front-end features utilizing frameworks such as Angular and React to create interactive and engaging interfaces.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and web services to connect front-end components with back-end systems built on technologies like Node.js, Django, PHP, or ASP.NET.
• Optimize website performance through efficient coding practices, image optimization, and code minification techniques.
• Conduct thorough unit testing and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables that meet project specifications.
• Utilize version control systems like GitHub and SVN for code management and collaboration within Agile development cycles.
• Participate in system architecture planning to enhance application scalability, security, and maintainability using tools like Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to SEO strategies by implementing best practices for web design and development that improve search engine rankings.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of codebase updates, system configurations, and user flows for ongoing support and future enhancements.
• Stay updated with emerging trends in web development, UX design, and new technologies such as WebGL or GraphQL to continuously improve our digital offerings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in front-end development with a strong portfolio demonstrating responsive websites built with HTML5, CSS3 (including SCSS), JavaScript (including frameworks like Angular or React), and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of web design principles focusing on usability (UX) and accessibility standards.
• Familiarity with back-end integration using RESTful APIs, SOAP services, or GraphQL for dynamic data rendering.
• Hands-on experience with version control systems such as GitHub or SVN in collaborative environments following SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies.
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and configuration management with Ansible for deployment automation.
• Experience working within Agile teams using project management tools like Jira or Trello to track progress efficiently.
• Proficiency in database management systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB or SQLite for data handling needs.
• Understanding of system architecture concepts including DevOps practices for continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities to articulate technical ideas clearly.
• A degree in Computer Science, Web Development or related field is preferred but not mandatory if complemented by relevant experience.
