The technology team drives the evolution and maintenance of the Tray e-commerce platform. We ensure high performance, quality, and security across the entire purchase flow, virtual store management, and various Marketplaces.
Daily tasks include developing new features, implementing improvements, resolving corrections, and leading project planning and definitions.
We are seeking individuals passionate about contributing to the evolution of our Mercado Livre Marketplace. This role offers the chance to be a protagonist, embrace new challenges, and enhance technical expertise, all while transforming Brazilian retail.
Responsibilities and Attributions
Your Day-to-Day Will Involve:
- Working within an agile team that fosters a culture of self-management.
- Engaging pragmatically and collaboratively throughout the development lifecycle, adhering to best coding practices.
- Developing high-performance services and supporting architectural evolution for Mercado Livre Marketplace integration projects.
- Collaborating on system architecture, design, and development, providing support to other developers for feature implementation.
- Identifying and resolving system failures.
- Participating actively in team meetings and technical ceremonies.
- Conducting code reviews for peer developers.
- Monitoring and analyzing the performance of production deployments.
- Documenting activities, test cases, and processes thoroughly.
- Ensuring the quality, security, and maintainability of all code produced by you and your team.
- Continuously teaching and learning in a collaborative environment.
Requirements and Qualifications
To Excel in This Role, You Will Need:
- Extensive experience with PHP language (version 7.x and above) and object-oriented programming (OOP).
- Proficiency with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or CakePHP.
- Strong knowledge of Javascript and related development tools.
- Proven experience in creating and integrating REST APIs.
- Expertise in both relational databases (MySQL) and non-relational databases (Redis, MongoDB).
- Experience with queue implementations.
- Intermediate proficiency in version control using Git.
- Understanding of scalable architectures and microservices.
- Familiarity with Event Streaming services and/or processing queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Sidekiq, Kafka, SQS).
- Knowledge of Code Review techniques and best practices.
- Experience with Containerization (Docker).
- Basic understanding of infrastructure.
- Solid knowledge of E-commerce platforms.
- Experience with integrations for Mercado Livre Marketplace and other major Marketplaces like Amazon, Skyhub, Magalu, Netshoes, Americanas, Shoptime, Casas Bahia.
Bonus Skills (Even Better If You Have):
- Ability to write clean code following design patterns and best practices (S.O.L.I.D, Design Patterns, Clean Code, Object Calisthenics).
- Experience with unit and integration testing.
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI) practices.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Vue.js, Bootstrap, or other component frameworks.
- Experience with AWS applications (EC2, S3, etc.).
- Proficiency in version control using Git and GitLab.
- Understanding of agile methodologies.
- Concepts of Domain Driven Design, Event Driven Design, and Service Oriented Architecture.
