The technology team is responsible for sustaining and evolving the Tray e-commerce platform, ensuring high performance, quality, and security across the entire purchasing flow, virtual store management, and Marketplaces.
Daily tasks include developing new features, implementing improvements, performing corrections, and defining project plans.
We are seeking proactive individuals to drive the evolution of our Mercado Livre Marketplace integration. This role requires taking ownership, embracing new challenges, and leveraging technical knowledge to transform Brazilian retail.
Responsibilities and Attributions
Daily Activities:
- Work within an Agile team environment fostering a culture of self-management.
- Act pragmatically and collaboratively throughout the development lifecycle, adhering to best coding practices.
- Develop high-performance services and support the architectural evolution of the Mercado Livre Marketplace integration project.
- Collaborate on system architecture, design, and development, providing support to developers on feature implementation.
- Identify and resolve system failures.
- Participate actively in team meetings and technical ceremonies.
- Conduct code reviews for peers.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of production deliveries.
- Document activities, test cases, and processes.
- Ensure the quality, security, and maintainability of all code produced.
- Engage in continuous teaching and learning within a collaborative setting.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Skills:
- Experience with PHP language (version 7.x or higher) and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Experience with PHP frameworks (Laravel, CakePHP).
- Knowledge of Javascript language and associated tools.
- Experience creating and integrating REST APIs.
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL) and non-relational databases (Redis, MongoDB).
- Experience implementing queues.
- Intermediate proficiency in version control using Git.
- Knowledge of scalable and microservices architectures.
- Knowledge of Event Streaming services and/or processing queues (RabbitMQ, Sidekiq, Kafka, SQS, or others).
- Proficiency in Code Review techniques and execution.
- Knowledge of Containerization (Docker).
- Basic infrastructure knowledge.
- E-commerce domain knowledge.
- Experience integrating with Mercado Livre Marketplace and/or other major Marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Skyhub, Magalu, Netshoes, Americanas, Shoptime, Casas Bahia).
Highly Desirable Skills:
- Ability to write code adhering to design patterns and best practices (S.O.L.I.D, Design Patterns, Clean Code, Object Calisthenics).
- Knowledge of unit and integration testing.
- Experience with Continuous Integration (CI).
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Vue.js, Bootstrap, or other component frameworks.
- Knowledge of AWS applications (EC2, S3, etc.).
- Experience with version control using Git and GitLab.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Understanding of Domain Driven Design, Event Driven Design, and Service Oriented Architecture concepts.
