ICC Academy - Technology Lead

Role Overview

We are seeking a Technology Lead based in Singapore to join the ICC Academy. This role involves overseeing technology projects, understanding business processes, and enhancing key systems like the Learning Management System (LMS), e-Commerce, Student Information System, and exam proctoring platforms. Reporting to the Technology Director, you will manage critical systems, services, and data.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all stages of the software development life cycle: design, development, integration, testing, deployment, maintenance, and customer support.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for users, analyzing issues, developing troubleshooting policies, and implementing solutions.
• Administer cloud infrastructure and services, including Microsoft Azure and Cloudflare.
• Oversee integrations with related platforms (LMS, e-Commerce, proctoring, certification).
• Adopt an "automation first" approach to minimize manual tasks and optimize operations.
• Provide application administrative support as needed.
• Monitor payments and support the e-commerce platform and payment gateways.
• Research, design, and implement new technology solutions to meet future requirements.
• Ensure timely documentation, notification, escalation, tracking, and follow-up of incidents and requests.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of four years of experience in software development, implementation, and support; data analysis and visualization experience is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL & MS SQL), PHP, MVC/Web services, REST API, Bootstrap, and frameworks like Node.js.
• Hands-on, highly motivated, and eager to enhance technical skills.
• Familiarity with data analytics solutions, Microsoft technologies, and Business Intelligence is preferred.
• Experience with Agile Scrum methodology.
• Excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills, innovative, and results-oriented team player.
• Organized, self-starter with the ability to work autonomously.
