Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain dynamic, data-driven web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies.
- Design, develop, and maintain dynamic, data-driven mobile applications.
- Make mission-critical decisions and assume ownership of platform and architecture.
- Lead architectural and design decisions for new and existing web projects.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code and enforce best practices through code reviews.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Implement security and data protection measures within web solutions.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full web stack.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong proficiency with server-side languages and frameworks (PHP).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, databases (SQL and NoSQL), and web services.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies.
- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Proficient with version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and cross-browser development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field.
- 5+ years of professional web development experience.
Additional Comments:
This position is remote eligible, with a preferred location in Georgia/Southeast Region of the U.S. Occasional travel and in-office requirements of approximately 15-25% of the time.
