As a Technical Lead Developer, you will be instrumental in maintaining the overall technical architecture, transforming complex challenges into clear decision-making frameworks, and providing expert technical guidance to the team. Your leadership will ensure our product continues its reliable, scalable, and clean growth.

Your Responsibilities

Technical Conception & Architecture

• Facilitate and document technical discussions, driving them to conclusive outcomes.
• Translate technical decisions into sprint-ready work, breaking them down into actionable deliverables, and defining tickets/epics with clear scope, dependencies, risks, and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate technical dependencies across various teams.
• Ensure a consistent system architecture for our SaaS platform, specifically within PHP/CakePHP environments.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to complexity, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Strategically plan development efforts: prioritizing immediate needs, future enhancements, and non-essential tasks.

Team Leadership & Engineering Excellence

• Establish technical direction, define engineering standards, and elevate overall code quality.
• Accelerate team delivery through structured processes, clear communication, and well-defined interfaces.
• Assist in segmenting work into manageable, understandable, testable, and deliverable packages.

Product-Oriented Development

• Independently implement complex features with a hands-on approach, ensuring clean and maintainable code.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and stakeholders, translating requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Contribute a vital technical perspective to roadmap planning and prioritization decisions.

What You Bring

• Extensive experience as a Senior Engineer or Tech Lead in production environments.
• Profound expertise in PHP and ideally CakePHP.
• Demonstrated experience with complex SaaS systems.
• A highly structured approach to problem-solving, capable of simplifying complexity, articulating arguments clearly, and ensuring transparent decision-making.
• Exceptional communication skills to convey technical topics effectively to stakeholders for swift evaluation and decision-making.
• Reliability and pragmatism, consistently delivering high-quality results.
