The Storage Group, a leading provider of websites, online marketing, and proprietary touchless rental systems for the Self Storage Industry, is hiring a Remote, Full-time Technical Customer Support Specialist. We seek a driven individual with strong website technical support experience and a commitment to excellent customer service.
This role operates Monday through Friday, with potential for rotating weekend hours. You will serve as the primary contact for clients and facility tenants, managing incoming communications via calls, emails, chats, and tickets. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, ticket creation, technical issue resolution, and client follow-up.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Receive, respond to, troubleshoot, and resolve client technical requests accurately and promptly via telephone, email, chat, and ticket systems.
- Assist tenant users with online move-in system issues, including password resets and payment problems.
- Provide technical support for website maintenance, including content changes, image optimization, plug-in installation, and resolving design errors (CSS/HTML).
- Add necessary scripts to websites.
- Assist with Gmail Suite emails.
- Perform website updates and edits using FTP access and/or ManageWP.
- Remove domains and websites from Servers.
- Facilitate proprietary Tenant Move-In Suite activities related to pricing, E-sign, and autopay options.
- Update Website Plugins to current versions.
Required Skills & Experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional Customer Service skills.
- Knowledge of Web Pages, PHP, and WordPress.
- Experience with domain management.
- Comfortable using the Gmail suite platform.
- Knowledge of C-Panel.
- Ability to work with PHP Code.
- Strong proficiency in CSS and HTML.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting expertise.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
- 2 years of experience in HTML5, PHP, WordPress, CSS, and Customer Service (Required).

Compensation & Benefits
Job Type: Full-time (40 hours per week). Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour.
