Zipdev is seeking a remote Tech Lead in Mexico with 8+ years of software engineering experience and proven leadership in project delivery. This role involves owning day-to-day engineering delivery, ensuring code quality and performance, mentoring developers, and serving as the primary technical point of contact, utilizing a tech stack that includes PHP 8.1+ (OOP), MySQL, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, Vue.js, and TypeScript.
Our client operates a leading influencer marketing platform, connecting brands with content creators across major social media channels like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Amazon. This robust platform efficiently manages campaign execution, creator discovery, content review, payments, and social media integrations at scale.
What you will do
- Own day-to-day engineering delivery.
- Ensure tickets are clear, prioritized, and progressing efficiently.
- Review and approve pull requests to maintain code integrity.
- Maintain high standards for code quality, performance, and maintainability.
- Guide engineers in breaking down complex work and making sound technical decisions.
- Mentor team members to foster growth and increase autonomy.
- Identify potential risks and escalate them proactively.
- Improve existing processes to enhance speed and predictability.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for developers, reporting directly to the CTO.

Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience.

- Excellent communication skills and a strong ownership mentality.
- Maintain a calm, firm, and consistent demeanor under pressure.
